It is the intention of the Town of Somers to pursue the highest of architectural criteria in order to insure compatibility and integrity as well as to preserve the rural and distinctive character of the Town of Somers. The Architectural Review Board is created as a means to bring this exercise of judgment into the public review process for development proposals in the Town of Somers.

Members meet monthly to review applications and render advice and decisions for structures and signage in Somers. Meetings are held the 4th Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Somers Town House Meeting Room.
